Terms of Service — nawid.io

Effective date: September 15, 2026 Operated by: Nawid Royaee, doing business as nawid.io ("we", "us", "nawid.io"), based in New York, USA.

These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using nawid.io, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What nawid.io is

nawid.io is a free study website for people preparing for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE 5.0). Each Sunday we publish a short quiz. You answer it, see your score, and get pointed to study material for the questions you missed. Your results are saved to your account so you can track progress over time.

2. Who can use it

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account without notice.

5. Our content belongs to us

Everything on nawid.io — questions, answers, explanations, images, study links, text, design, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own exam preparation. The content is licensed, not sold. You do not gain any ownership by using the site. Any use not expressly allowed here is prohibited.

6. Not affiliated with NCARB

nawid.io is an independent study resource. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). ARE and Architect Registration Examination are registered trademarks of NCARB. All quiz content is original and written by us; it is not taken from, and does not represent, actual exam questions.

7. No guarantee of exam results

Our quizzes are a study aid, nothing more. We do not promise that using nawid.io will help you pass the ARE or any other exam, or that our content is complete, current, or free of errors. Codes, standards, and exam specifications change; always check official NCARB and code sources.

8. Free today; paid features may come later

nawid.io is currently free. We may add paid features in the future (for example full-length practice exams or subscriptions). Any paid features will have their own terms, prices, and refund rules, which we will show you before you pay. Nothing in these terms obliges us to keep any feature free or available.

9. Ending your use of the site

Sections 5, 10, 11, and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. No warranties (plain language)

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not make any promises about it — for example that it will always work, be free of mistakes, be uninterrupted, or suit your needs. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether written, implied, or arising from how the site is normally used.

11. Limit on our liability (plain language)

To the fullest extent the law allows:

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places our liability is limited as far as the law permits.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before starting any legal action, please email support@nawid.io so we can try to sort it out first.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will email you or show a notice on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the site after the effective date means you accept the new terms. The current version is always at nawid.io/terms.
