Email Consent & Unsubscribe — nawid.io

This notice explains which emails nawid.io sends, which ones you can switch off, and how we comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act.
Two kinds of email
1. Account and security emails (transactional). These are about your account and are exempt from CAN-SPAM's opt-out rules because they are not marketing:
- Verify your email address
- Password reset link
- "Your password was changed"
- Email-address change notice
- "Your account and data were deleted"
You cannot unsubscribe from these while you have an account. We send them only when triggered by something you did.
2. The Saturday reminder (commercial / marketing). Once a week, Saturday around 6 pm Eastern, we email "Tomorrow's quiz opens." This is the only recurring email we send, and it is optional.
Your consent
- At sign-up the reminder box is ticked by default and you may untick it. Your choice and its timestamp are stored.
- Google sign-in users get the same choice on their first visit.
- We never add your address to any other list, and we never send emails on behalf of third parties.
How to unsubscribe
- Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any reminder email — one click, no login needed, no questions asked; or
- Turn off "Sunday reminder" in Settings; or
- Email support@nawid.io with the subject "Unsubscribe".
We process every opt-out within 10 business days as CAN-SPAM requires; in practice it takes effect immediately. The unsubscribe link keeps working for at least 30 days after each email is sent. Opting out of the reminder never affects your account.
What every reminder email includes
- A truthful subject line and "From" name (nawid.io).
- A clear note that it is a reminder from nawid.io.
- A working unsubscribe link.
- Our physical mailing address: [MAILING ADDRESS — PO box pending] (required by CAN-SPAM in every marketing email — a PO box or registered commercial mail-receiving agency address is acceptable).
